Why this site

Spanish verbs are where many learners stall. Most trainers ask you to install an app, sign up or pay before you answer a single question. This site does one thing: you pick a few verbs, answer quick multiple-choice questions by picking the right form and see the rule behind every mistake. It starts with 50 common verbs in three tenses and grows step by step.

Principles

  • No sign-up. Your progress stays in your browser.
  • Small sets of 3–6 verbs grouped by pattern, not lists of 100.
  • Every check explains what went wrong.

Data sources

Conjugations are generated from Spanish rules plus our own table of irregular forms. Each form was checked against Wiktionary conjugation tables (CC BY-SA 4.0).

The “Top 10/25/50” order comes from word frequencies in Spanish film and TV subtitles: FrequencyWords, OpenSubtitles 2018 (CC BY-SA 4.0). A verb's score is the sum of all its forms. Some forms belong to two verbs (fue is both ser and ir) or are also other words (como means both “I eat” and “like”), so they count for each, and the order is approximate.
